Peter Hurd. Collection of 21 Signed Lithographs/Prints. (1904-1984) A regionalist painter known for his landscape, figure and genre paintings of New Mexico. Well educated, Hurd studied with N.C. Wyeth and ultimately married Wyeth's daughter, the sister of Andrew Wyeth. Here is a collection of 21 lithographs/prints, each signed in pencil by Peter Hurd. Included are 1.) The series of 10 images printed on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Hawaii in 1949 complete with original oversized bifolium titled "100 Years of Progress" with each print/scene described in detail inside. Mint. 2.) Balance are 11 lithographs issued between late 1940s to early 1970s all hand signed by artist and include "The Oasis," "The Red Pickup," "River Valley in Spring," and other wonderful landscapes of the Southwest. Every piece is in excellent condition, stored flat for years in acid free folios. A fine lot for decorators, collectors and dealers alike. Estimated Value $400 - UP
