J. Barrowman. CIRCUS. Striking oil on canvas by an artist we could not find much biographical information regarding. But this abstract composition is exceptionally appealing, a bit mysterious until one recognizes the sheer joy of performance: elaborately costumed performers, fabric swirling about them, the spotlights just catching their image. It so captures the excitement of a Cirque du Soleil-like performance one would think it was created for the production. Stretched canvas, no frame, painting measures 35 x 23", and is in excellent condition. A wonderful piece. Estimated Value $600 - UP
