Lot 732

1873-CC. NGC graded EF-40. Light soft grey toning on both sides with the usual scattered handling marks from brief circulation. This is one of the lowest mintage dates from these early years at the Carson City Mint. Production of silver coins was limited, and this 1873 date became the final year of production for the Liberty Seated silver dollar. The new Trade silver dollars were introduced in 1873, and Carson City also produced those coins. This is one of the key issues to the Liberty Seated silver dollar series, and a coin which is seldom found this nice. Only 2,300 struck. Pop 2; 17 finer at NGC. Estimate Value $22,000 - 24,000

Unsold
