1816 N-7 R3 MS60. Frosty light olive and steel brown blending to medium olive in some of the protected areas. No spots or stains, but there is a bit of microscopic roughness around ONE and a faint hairline scratch under the end of the wreath ribbon. The obverse is virtually flawless. E-MDS with clearly defined dentils around both sides, and the repunching at the lower right of the O in ONE is still sharp. Traces of edge reeding are visible from star 5 to star 7. Graded MS60 by Bland and Noyes and at the lower end of the condition census in both lists, Noyes photo #28480. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
