1819/8 N-1 R1 Overdate 9 over 8 AU50. Frosty steel and olive brown with lighter steel brown toning in protected areas on the obverse. No spots or stains and nearly void of contact marks. A tiny hairline scratch between the C & A in AMERICA is the best identifying mark and it is barely visible. E-MDS. The overdate feature is obvious. In addition there are triple profiles on the nostrils and doubling on the lips, jaw, truncation, and many of the curls (from die shift or bounce). Removed from a PCGS holder graded AU55 (PCGS label #1612.55/16667670 included). Estimate Value $850 - UP
