1818 N-4 R4+ F12. Sharpness VF20 but dark olive and steel with fine roughness under the natural patina. No verdigris. A small pitmark or planchet chip midway between stars 8 & 9 is the best identifying mark. LDS with obvious swelling on the obverse and a dull die crack from the rim through star 3 into the field at right. Noyes graded VF20 sharpness net VG10, his photo #28219. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
