1817 N-17 R4 VF35. Sharpness EF45 or slightly better but there is an obvious nick on the jaw and a stain on the reverse. The obverse is a very attractive medium brown and light chocolate with mint frost covering the protected areas. The reverse is a mix of frosty medium brown and dark bluish olive brown. Traces of glue or some other substance can be found on the reverse (perhaps removable?). MDS with several die cracks on the reverse and the right top of the first T in STATES clearly raised towards the rim. A sharp cent with upside potential if the glue or lacquer can be removed from the reverse. Estimate Value $2,500 - UP
