1817 N-9 R2 AU50. Sharpness very close to mint state but very lightly cleaned leaving slightly lighter toning on the highest points of the devices. Lustrous light olive and steel brown with a puff of darker brown toning under the end of the wreath stem. Otherwise the only mark is a tiny rim nick over the second T in STATES. LDS with a "Mouse" break on top of the head. A very nice cent in spite of the light cleaning. Removed from a PCGS slab graded AU58 ({PCGS label #1594.58/27256909 included). Estimate Value $800 - UP
