Lot 144

1828 N-6 R1 AU55. Frosty light olive and steel brown with underlying very faded red showing through in protected areas, especially on the reverse, most likely from an old cleaning. No defects and the eye appeal is excellent. Sharply struck MDS with a faint die crack from the bust tip to star 1 in addition to the always-present tiny lumps on the obverse from fine die rust. A lustrous cent that looks mint state. Estimate Value $750 - UP
