1827 N-12 R5 PCGS graded VF25. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown and steel. Smooth and attractive for the grade, nearly free of marks. A couple tiny nicks in the field before the eye, a small planchet chip or dimple over the bust tip, and a faint diagonal scratch left of star 11 are the notable marks. MDS with a clear die crack from the truncation to the rim between the 1 & 8. A new discovery in 2017. Our grade is F15, tied for CC#4 of this rare variety. Estimate Value $2,800 - UP
