Lot 116

1825 N-10 R3 NGC graded MS62 Brown. Frosty olive brown and steel mixed with some lighter brown and chocolate on the obverse. The surfaces are smooth and satiny, and the only notable mark is a very light rim bruise between stars 7 & 8. Otherwise this cent is choice, just very lightly worn on the highpoints of the devices. MDS with a fine die crack from the back of the ear to the bust and peak of the 1 to the dentils below star 1, plus dentil fusing at star 10. A very nice example of this scarce die variety. Our grade is AU50 sharpness net EF45+. Estimate Value $2,400 - UP
Ex Chris McCawley 9/22/2016-The Westwood Collection.

Realized $1,740
