Sale 112

Lot 1155

1850-D. PCGS graded AU-58. Boldly struck with delicate light golden mint luster throughout. The obverse is particularly sharp. Clean surfaces that show no deep or detracting marks. For the collector, this eye appealing example is perfect to consider, as there are not Mint State coins that are considerably finer given that the finest seen by PCGS is MS-62. As such, we highly recommend this still elusive AU-58! Only 12,148 struck. Pop 19; 8 finer, 3 in 60, 1 in 61, 4 in 62. (PCGS # 7757) Estimate Value $2,500 - UP

Realized $5,520
