1854-D. PCGS graded AU-58. Boldly struck with golden-orange mint luster. A prized date for its low mintage and tiny survival rate. All seen show strong die file lines, nearly horizontal, left of the mintmark, other die lines are seen on the reverse at more of an angle through the center. An important offering for the date and mint collector of this series. Only 2,935 struck. Pop 8; 16 finer, 4 in 61, 12 in 62. (PCGS # 7526) Estimate Value $3,500 - UP
