Scarce Apollo 11 NASA Issued Medallion, The Die Having Flown to the Moon + Publications and NASA Gold Employee Lapel Pin. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11. Limited to only 1000 (one thousand) a medallion issued by NASA to employees on the occassion of the successful Apollo 11 Mission. Great design of Earth to the Moon forming the letter "A" on recto with the edge engraved "LUNAR LANDING JULY 1969 and on verso the explanation that the die was flown to the moon and back with the names of all three astronauts and their engraved signatures. This is the first medallion of this type we have offered in many years and is in excellent condition.
Also 7 publications issued by NASA, employee ID badges, some unclassified 8 x 10" photos from General Dynamics and the very collectible, small gold-filled, screwback NASA lapel pin still in original pill box. Estimate Value $800 - UP
