U.S.S. Guadacanal (LPH-7) Apollo 9 Recovery Baseball Cap. Property of a crew member aboard the recovery ship U.S.S. Guadacanal for the Apollo 9 splashdown. James A. McDivitt, David R. Scott and Russell L. Schweickart performed the first docking, extraction and manned flight of a LM. Cap is embroidered and comes with a personal B&W photo of the crew member posing in front of the Apollo 9 Command Module. Photo is 4 x 5" and has creases but still great.
