Original Apollo Space Suit Glove Hand Mold: Used with the A6L, A7L and A7LB Space Suit Configurations. Apollo space suits and gloves were custom made for every astronaut. The process of making both intra-vehicular and extra-vehicular gloves for the Apollo program involved first making a cast of the individual astronaut's hands, then further detailed black rubber hand molds were created by NASA model makers to be used as the dipping molds for producing their flight gloves. Offered is a rare opportunity to acquire such a dipping mold. While the glove is A6L OOG the incised ID # of T-386 specific to an astronaut is unknow until such time a master identification cross-reference list can be found.
