Chuck Yeager: Fantastic Photo and Commemorative Stamp Block Presentation, Two Autographs. If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing. (born 1923, 96 years of age). Chuck Yeager is a former United States Air Force officer, flying ace, and record-setting test pilot. In 1947, he became the first pilot confirmed to have exceeded the speed of sound in level flight. Offered is a fantastic presentation, having two Yeager autographs. One is a photo of Yeager squatting in front of a stealth bomber, inscribed and signed "Jim Good Luck Chuck Yeager." The other is a block of 32 cent commemorative stamps of his first supersonic flight, very boldly signed across the sheet "Chuck Yeager." Excellent condition, 18½ x 15", and one of the best signed Yeager pieces we have offered. Estimate Value $200 - UP
