Collection of Five Chinese Snuff Bottles including one of Cinnabar and one of Beautiful Agate. Five lovely snuff bottles. The standout is an elaborately fashioned bottle of agate in gourd shape with attached carved rings; a very impressive piece. with one side having a naturally occuring depression in the stone. Bottle has a matching delicately carved top without being equipped with a scoop. Next is a lovely carved bottle of red cinnabar with idyllic village scenes carved on both sides each along a flowing river. Great scenic details completely surround the bottle having a coral top and without scoop. Next are two porcelain snuff bottles, both with glass tops and scoops each surrounded by different breeds of roosters which are very popular with collectors. The details in the feathers and colors are very nice. Finally a white porceralin bottle with foliate design in blue glaze. Estimate Value $500 - UP
