Collection of Eight Chinese Snuff Bottle in Lapiz Lazuli, Agate, Porcelain and Glass. Collection of eight (8) Chinese snuff bottles with some particular stand outs which include: 1.) A large snuff bottle is 3¼ x 2 x 2" is of highly polished agate evoking a gourd with carved relief of butterflies in flight and two gourds with trailing vines. Bottle has matching agate top with no scoop and is beautifully crafted. 2.) A very nicely carved lapiz snuff bottle 2½ x 1½" one side having relief of two birds in a tree on a rocky cliff. Lapiz top with no scoop. 3.) Vintage interior painted glass 3" bottle of a Chinese empress with considerable text on verso, jadeite top with scoop 4.) A colorful "Thousand Flowers" enamel on glass bottle with red top and scoop. The balance are are two vintage glass bottles with modest design etched on both sides, one deep brown glass bottle with tiger's eye top and scoop and one cylindrical white porcelain with hand painted characters in a garden that completely surrounds the bottle with nephrite top and scoop.
