Collection of six front page facsimiles, 15 x 10½", each signed in the upper border in English and Hebrew, no place, no date. Front page facsimiles are from May 1, 1946; May 15, 1948, proclaiming the new State of Israel; May 12, 1949, about the lifting of the Berlin blockade; October 30, 1956, re Suez crisis and Israeli invasion of Egypt; October 7, 1973, about the Yom Kippur War; and May 16, 1974, reporting on an Arab attack on an Israeli school in Maalot. Golda Meir (1898-1978) held several positions in the Israeli government, including Minister of Labor (1949-56), of Foreign Affairs (1956-66), and Internal Affairs (July 16-Sept., 1970).
