Israeli Declaration of Independence -- Broadside With Original Signatures of 13 of the Original 37 Signers. Broadside printing of Israel's Declaration of Independence, on blue paper, 13¼ x 4 7/8. Thirteen of the 37 original signers have signed around the printed signatures, all but one of them in blue ink. David Ben-Gurion signed in Hebrew and English; the others signed in Hebrew only. The eleven men and two women who signed this broadside are: Rachel Cohen, Moshe Kol (Kolodny), Pinchas Rosen (Rosenbluth), Berl Repetor, David Ben-Gurion, Sa'adia Khubashi, Zerach Warhaftig, Kalman Kahana, Mordechai Bentov, Golda Meir, Eliyahu Dobkin, Meir Vilner, and Herzl Vardi (Rosenblum).

At 4:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. His reading of Israel's Declaration of Independence was broadcast to Jews all over the country. Ben Gurion became the first Prime Minister of the new state, which was quickly recognized by the United States and the USSR. Estimate Value $2,500 - UP
