Five (5) Vintage/Antique Silver and Brass Yad Torah Pointers Made from Ebony, Horn or Mother of Pearl. Striking collection of Yad Torah Pointers in silver, brass and a variety of other materials likely all from the Middle East, late 19th Century to Mid-20th Century. Pointers are used as instruments to read the text of the Torah so as not to have hands touch the scroll. These Particular yads range from 9½ to 18" in length and fashioned from silver on ebony wood with cross hatch carving, engraved horn, mother of pearl and the most unusual, salvaged rings on a clear rod and with most having suspended charms of Stars of David or hamsas.
