A distinguished portrait, in fine condition. With Herbert Hoover (1874-1964) 31st President of the United States (1929-33). Photo signed by both Herbert and Lou Henry Hoover (1874-1944), 10 x 6½", n.p., n.d. A full-length portrait in a wooded environment with an American flag in the background, signed across the bottom. The President signed in blue ink across his and his wife's light clothing. The First Lady, who was a scholar and linguist, signed in darker ink below.
