Sale 110

Lot 852

1795. PCGS graded VF-30. CAC. Nice light silver gray toning on both sides. The surfaces are smooth and free of detracting marks, and the strike is sharp. Good curl defintion on Liberty, and the eagle shows much of the original feather definition on his wings. A solid representative of this important and challenging type coin. The vast majority of 1795 half dollars circulated down to grades of Very Good or lower, so a nice Very Fine coin like this is a real treat to examine and own (PCGS # 6052) Estimate Value $4,500 - 5,000

Realized $4,080
