1838. Browning 1, Rarity 1. PCGS graded MS-64. The centers are nice and bold. Violet and deep blue colors around obverse rims while the reverse is mostly white. A great coin for a type set and this is the final year of issue of the Capped Bust quarters, as the Liberty Seated design was launched in the later portion of 1838 after these Capped Bust quarters were struck and released into circulation. Pop 3; 2 finer for the variety, 1 in 65, 1 in 66. (PCGS # 39015) Estimate Value $4,000 - UP
