1812 S-288 R2 Large Date NGC XF Details Improperly Cleaned. Frosty medium olive brown and steel. No roughness or verdigris. The only marks are some light scratches at stars 2-4 (not visible to the unaided eye) and microscopic hairlines covering both sides from a very light cleaning or overly vigorous brushing. This cent has great eye appeal in spite of the minor defects. LDS, Breen state III. Our grade is net VF25+. Estimate Value $500 - UP
