1842-O. NGC graded MS-65. Frosty and lightly toned with delicate silver gray hues with a band of gold on the right side of the obverse, the reverse more of a classic silver gray. A tough date to find at all, and nearly impossible this well preservd with just 3 known at the gem level and none seen finer. A fantastic coin for the New Orleans speacialist and one that is not to be missed by any true collector. Pop 3; tied for the fines examples graded at both services. Estimate Value $8,000 - UP
