1805. PCGS graded AU-55. CAC. PQ. A lovely coin with beautiful toning. Not only is this a low mintage date, but a high condition rarity which is quite desirable to respresent this issue. Half dime production came to a halt after 1805, only to restart on July 4, 1829 with an entirely new style. This 1805 half dime represents the last of the Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle design type, and one which is rarely found in grades like this fantastic AU55 coin. Only 15,600 struck.
