Baktrian Kingdom. Demetrios I. Silver Tetradrachm (15.75 g), ca. 200-185 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Demetrios I right, wearing elephant's skin headdress. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY, Herakles standing facing, crowning himself and holding club and lion's skin; in inner left field, PKA monogram. Bopearachchi 1D; SNG ANS 188-9. Wonderful obverse, fields on reverse heavily smoothed. Sharpness of Very Fine. Estimate Value $300 - 400
