1850. PCGS graded MS-62. Boldly struck and untoned, with abundant mint frost on both sides and excellent surface quality. This is the first year of issue, and one which is highly prized by collectors. A couple of pattern issue $20 coins were struck of 1849, but they are not available to collectors in the last several generations.
