1929. NGC graded MS-63. Light gold tone. This is the final year of issue of the Indian half eagle series. Most of these 1929 half eagles were melted in the 1930s, and today around 750 are believed to exist. The finest graded stands at MS65, and not many are known at that lofty grade level.
