Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 110

Lot 1195

1910-S. PCGS graded MS-64. Lovely golden toning. Well struck mint mark, as well as on all the devices. This is a prized date in high grades, as the mintage of 770,200 pieces was mostly melted in the ensuing gold call in of the 1930s. A few survived in European hoards most likely, as well as being saved from the time of issue. Given that, finding a near gem like this is a formidable undertaking. Radiant mint luster, a few scattered light marks, and glorious eye appeal are the hallmarks of this condition rarity. Don't miss out if you are seeking a high end, highly appealing 1910-S for your collection. Pop 20; 10 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 8519) Estimate Value $24,000 - 25,000
