1903. NGC graded Proof 67+. A fully white Gem Proof. This one is tied with a few others as one of the very finest to survive. The 1903 quarter eagles were struck in the all mirror format, with much less contrast than seen in previous years. The surfaces are virtually perfect and studying this coin with a loupe is a most pleasureable experience. A stellar example. Only 197 struck. Pop 2; 1 finer in 67+ Star.
