1870 Pattern Dime. Copper, reeded edge. Judd-839. Pollock-930. High Rarity 7. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red & Brown. CAC. Beautiful soft rainbow tones on both sides. The obverse has the Standard Silver style with Liberty's bust facing right, wearing a cap with 3 stars, legend above and Motto below on a raised ribbon. The reverse has an open cereal wreath with 10 / CENTS / 1870 within, and Standard in tiny letters above. A rare pattern issue that is seldom seen or offered. Pop 1; the only Red & Brown example graded at PCGS. (PCGS # 71083) Estimate Value $4,000 - UP
