1870 Pattern Dime. Silver, reeded edge. Judd-825. Pollock-915. Low Rarity 7. PCGS graded Proof 64. A brilliant creamy specimen and very choice. The obverse employs Barber's Liberty Seated design, with Liberty facing left and the cap surrmounted high on the pole. A shield stands behind her held by her right hand and a ribbon is draped down the shield inscribed LIBERTY. The reverse has an open cereal wreath with 10 CENTS within on two lines and STANDARD in tiny letters above. This is a rare and handsome pattern coin. Pop 6; 4 finer in 64 Cameo.
