1818 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Normal. EF-40. A rare variety that is seldom cherrypicked. This one had some very faint marks in the left obverse field which have been carefully buffed down. Further, the coin was cleaned, leaving moderate hairlines throughout. Now toned a dark steel gray, we see no other flaws and note that the hair details on Liberty are very strong. An impressive example of this variety.
