Lot 711
1801 Draped Bust Dime. PCGS graded EF-40. Steel gray in color and we note some darker shades on the devices. Struck from rusted dies, as were all, and sharp. As a date, 1801 is seldom found in high grades at all, so to locate one this nice is quite a feat. The reverse is especially nice, with full stars and details on the eagle, unlike many other dimes of the period.
