Honorius, 393-423 AD. Gold Solidus (4.4 g), Ravenna mint, struck 402-406 AD. Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Honorius right. Reverse: Emperor in military attire standing frontal, head right, holding labarum and Victory atop globe, foot upon captive below. RIC 1287; C. 44. Well centered, good strike, with some residual luster. Faint small scrape on obverse field. Very Fine plus.
