Pescennius Niger, 193-194 AD. AR Denarius, Antioch mint, struck 193-194 AD. Rare. Laureate head right. Reverse: Jupiter enthrone left, holding Victory and scepter; IOVI PRAE ORBIS. RSC 41a; RIC 43b. Surprisingly well centered, with complete legends visible. Lightly toned, with usual light metal porosity, but here not so bad. About Very Fine.
