Trajan, 98-117 AD. Gold Aureus (7.4 g), Rome mint, struck 98-99 AD. Laureate head right. Reverse: Germania seated left, upon a pile of shields and arms, holding olive branch. RIC 15; C. 290.A number of surface marks, mostly ancient, but portrait bold and sharply struck. Very Fine or better.
