Lot 1207
1938 Arkansas Half Dollar. The three coins grade Mint State-65 each and the box grades Fine. An unusual find, most of these boxes were discarded years ago and are seldom available, the box is covered in a thin paper which has the appearance of oak, which shows some wear on the corners. The paper hinge is worn but still functions. Obviously, this box is fragile, which no doubt accounts for how few of them were saved! Inside the box is a dark blue felt holder with insets for the 3 coins. The coins themselves are all toned and appear to have never been dipped. Lot of 3 coins and 1 box.
