1900 Lafayette Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Hazy luster that is just starting to tone on both sides. Nicely struck, with some details on the boot, and sharp elsewhere. Nearly a gem, with few bagmarks or signs of handling found even with a glass. This early commemorative is often found with numerous bagmarks and most were mishandled by the early collecting public, not so here, the surfaces remain quite fresh despite a century since its issue.
