1826 Capped Bust Half Dollar. . O-109. MS-63+. A beautiful coin that boasts deep gray toning around the edges and much brighter silver at the centers. Liberty is quite well frosted and our consigner believes this may have been some sort of presentation strike. We do note there is a fine scratch down Liberty's neck to her drapery, but is can only be seen with a glass. Minor hairlines in the fields. Regardless of what you call this coin, it is appealing and one that many collectors will enjoy in the future, as I'm sure they've enjoyed it in the past.
