1793 S-9 R2 Wreath Cent, Vine & Bars Edge PCGS Genuine XF Details Repaired. Attractive glossy medium olive and steel. The surfaces are smooth, void of any corrosion or notable circulation marks, and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. However a strong glass reveals the fields on both sides have been very carefully smoothed and some of the fine hair details have been delicately strengthened as well. There is no apparent reason why someone decided it was a good idea to mess with this cent, but at least the work was done with exceptional skill. M-LDS, Breen state VII, with die cracks on the reverse and clear die clashmarks at the top of the wreath. Graded VF30 and Average Plus by Noyes, his photo #26700. Our grade is VF30 sharpness net F15.
