1809. JR-1, Rarity 4. NGC graded MS-64. Untoned, bright and lustrous. This is the first year of issue and shows the new design by famed engraver John Reich. The mintage was modest, but more importantly, this issue is downright elusive today. Mint State coins are in tremendous demand and seldom offered.
