1800. NGC graded AU-55. A hint of light tone. Only 21,760 struck, and from that meager beginning not many exist today. Especially so in choice AU grades! The surfaces are pleasing, with a few minor scattered marks, and the strike is sharp for this early Draped Bust dime. This date is far less plentiful than the commonly seen 1805 and 1807 issues of this design. Pop 7; 9 finer at NGC. Estimate Value $9,000 - 10,000
