1817 N-16 R1 15-Star Obverse PCGS graded VG10. Attractive glossy medium steel and chocolate brown. Smooth and nice for the grade. The only marks are a planchet flake at the upper right of star 2 and a nick at the top of the N in CENT. EDS. Struck 25% off center to K-1.5 leaving many of the stars and letters of the reverse legend off the planchet. A dramatic mint error on a very popular variety. Our grade is VG8.
