Lot 76

1817 N-13 R1 PCGS graded MS64+ Red & Brown. Lustrous light bluish steel and olive with bright mint red covering 15% of the obverse and 30% of the reverse. The surfaces are satiny and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. The only defect is a spot of fine reddish roughness resting on the top of the inner section of the hair bun. EDS with dentils around both sides. Our grade is MS62. A nice example of this "Randall Hoard" variety. The attribution and Neiswinter provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 1 finer in 65 for the variety. Estimate Value $1,750 - UP
