Lot 61

1817 N-6 R1 PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Lustrous bluish steel brown and light olive. Great eye appeal with only a few microscopic marks including a very light horizontal scratch on the chin and a diagonal one in the field off the nose. MDS with flowlines on both sides and slightly less than half the dentils on the reverse still visible. Graded MS63 Choice and tied for CC#2 honors with several other pieces in the Noyes census, his photo #20818. Our grade is MS62, same as the PCGS grade. The attribution and Neiswinter provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 15 finer for the variety, 14 in BN, 1 in RB. Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
