1834 N-5 R5 Large Date & Stars, Medium Letters VF20. Ten points sharper but there is some light corrosion on the right side of the reverse while the remainder of the planchet is smooth and quite attractive. No notable marks. The obverse is glossy medium brown delicately woodgrained with medium chocolate brown; the reverse is a slightly darker mix medium chocolate and reddish chocolate brown tones. MDS. The date and legends are complete and clear. A decent example of this popular "Redbook" variety. Estimate Value $650 - UP
